I got my left lateral meniscus stitched-up a week ago so I'm trapped in a leg brace for another five weeks. I wish that procedure was available 6 years ago when my left medial meniscus was torn. It was removed, and in 6 months collapsed bone on bone resulting in osteoarthritis. I ended up getting a hemiarthroplasty (half knee replacement).
