They've had distributors throughout the world for quite a while now, and there just aren't many untapped geographies left for them to harvest. Take Europe for example where they have been established for quite a while with strong distribution in all countries. As one of the first help desk vendors in that market they have enjoyed strong sales. Now there are many other US as well as local European companies competing for business. Their distributors are now of the size where the ownership has a nice business that can earn a tidy sum by focusing on their install base of Remedy customers and consequently will have less of a motivation to grow their business by 50%/year slogging it out with 15 competitors on each deal.
