In the oceans. Water has a high heat capacity. So true but what does this have to do with the nominal increase in the trace gas CO2 concentration? BTW, the concentration of water vapor in the atmosphere is about 50X that of CO2 and the heat capacities are similar. Why don't we blame water vapor for the supposed problem?
