The rate since AD time began, minus the last 50 years, looks pretty good.
Then let's start killing off humans and reversing all of human progress until we get to that "ideal point."

Or we can stop burning fossil fuels and live ascetically. Let's start with the hypocrites flying around in private jets telling us we're killing the environment.

Personally I have faith that human progress will find new solutions to everything from energy to health care to climate preservation. And as we improve the condition of humanity, especially the social condition, birth rates will naturally fall and we won't have to deal with 20B people on this planet.

But that's never going to happen if you so-called "progressives" do anything BUT allow humanity to progress.
