The average guy knows he is getting screwed by the government, which has basically merged with Corporate America and the Financial Institutions. He may feel powerless to do anything about it, but he knows how unethical the government and almost all major US Corporations are. Don't underestimate the intelligence of all the Physicians, lawyers, accountants, engineers, nurses, technicians, sales force, repair people, etc. I get around all the neighborhoods and tutor their children. Children today tell me adults will do anything for money so they know in a way too. Don't interpret resignation or despair for not caring. The population cares a lot more than you think.
