"The privilage card" This is certainly a great PROVEN concept. For years now the Casino are offering select customers freeby's and comps (complimentarys stuff's) based on size of wagers and duration of play. The more time you spend in a certain Casino the more comp's you get. Hotels started to get into the comp business as did airlines (frequent flyers). Of course now there are diners clubs, gas cards and why not phone cards.

I've seen MCI phone cards at the local Price Costco (a warehouse club). For Price Costco to carry the item, it must sell in good volume. My point is, the average american (and European) do want these cards and are buying them creating teh demand. Now, with the offering of "privalages/freeby's, the cards will really become popular. I know of a coworker who buys MCI phone cards for her college children so that they call home and can't use the excuse " I ran our of money". She basically prepaids the calls.

The cards also make sence from the standpoint of freeby's. In today's competitive times, if your card (any card) doesn't offer freeby's, it losing business. Years ago I use to pay annual fees of $20 or more to VISA and MAstercard. Now I have cards with NO ANNUAL charges and freeby's. Freeby's drive the popularity of the card.

Enough about freeby's. The Privalage Card offers pripiority service. Through teh use of The Privalage Card, callers can make long distance calls and pay local toll charges (plus some fee) because of FTEl/FNET equipment's ability to do voice-to-voice over internet lines. This is substantial, since this service has yet to be offered.

Just a thought. Joe probably has a stragetic plan on how to roll-out The Privalage Card and make it work.
