I'd also go along with that. And in addition, from what I've heard some commentators mention, it seems that Saudi Arabia is determined to keep its dominance as the No.1 oil supplier and maintain its market share. Therefore they believe it's unlikely that the Saudi's will go along with a cut back of oil supply when OPEC meet later this month in Vienna.

Maybe the Saudi's have been persuaded to make life difficult for the Russians, which they may have been prepared to do, as it's in line with their own 'market share strategy'.
