I agree with you that the chances of a buyout (in real probabilities) are quite low. My point was just that it is more likely at lower valuations, especially if other companies realize the value of Ancor's technology. That technology is what would interest potential suitors. Put another way, right now you could buy Ancor in total for 1/2, 1/4, or maybe even 1/8 of what Brocade would garner. That seems like a pretty big valuation gap.
