Chip... PWEB is a penny stock. Its fully reporting. Its a 3 cent stock. I know my risk. I stand to lose 3 cents per share on it. I'm not pumping it... just mentioning it. There are obviously issues or it wouldnt be 3 cents --- but then there obviously problems with HERTZ - HTZ or it wouldnt be down 30% and having to restate earnings.

Many penny stocks are REALLY good companies. I dont mention them often here but several years ago I did mention this one:

AMNF

I still hold a position in the company. I began buying in the .60 cent range. Back when I posted the stock and to this day the company has been paying 3 or 4 cents per share dividend every year.

Here is a chart that goes back to when I first mentioned it in 2010:

I had another penny stock that was paying me a penny per share per year on my 90k shares that I bot at an avg cost of around 13 cents... it also went over $2.00 and is now about a buck.

I started buying SPND back in 1999 @ .18 cents and after I sold the last of my shares at around $6.00 it went up over $10.00 and trades today around $5.50 range. Here's a chart with an arrow at where I first began buying.

I began buying this bank around 34 cents... it just reported solid earnings of 4.7 million (but 2.5 million was a tax benefit) with 2.7 million in hard earnings on around 11.5 million shares OS. All things being equal I expect the stock to be in the $1.75 - $2.25 range after next earnings release.

I bought my first shares of this stock at .15 cents

Trust me when I say I can go on. Its all about one's tolerance for risk. NOBODY here (imo) has a more intimate knowledge of the risks (and rewards) of penny stocks than me... if I'm wrong... I'd like to hear from others. At last count in my portfolios I had 84 stocks worth ZERO. These stocks represent 6 figures in hard money losses and 7 figures in paper profit losses.

Having said that... I have made many times more in hard money than I have in hard losses. I started with $8k trading capital and was $80k in debt in my construction business, had a stay-at-home mom and six kids.

Hate on me if you want for mentioning PWEB --- its certainly a RISKY play, I'll be the first to admit that. ... but try not to be so condescending.
