429 OF THE 9 BENT IPHONE 6 – MACGENERATION

French website MacGeneration (http://iGen.fr) had a bent/warped iPhone 6 Plus. The article on their site is quite interesting as it reads a little like Dan Seifert’s from The Verge’s experience in some ways. They made a genius appointment and took in the phone and chose not to present as journalists but just regular customers. The similarity ends there though as they were refused a replacement for this very minor twisting of the enclosure. We know for a fact that some Apple stores have replaced units for this exact same twisting (mine was the same but slightly worse). It highlights again the random treatment you can expect to receive when taking in a bent iPhone to an Apple Store. Apple must sort out some consistency in what customers can expect if they bring in their iPhones that have bent through normal usage.
