The Constitution, along with the history of it, is about as clear as you can get.

If the Court will allow a cut-and-paste operation of this nature, in a bill that raises 100s of billions of dollars in revenue, the Origination Clause (which the Framers took great pains to insert into the Constitution) would be rendered inapplicable.

I can't imagine a Supreme Court holding that any word in the Constitution is "too esoteric."
