Religious myths & rituals are by design centered around effecting tribal unity & identity which has direct Darwinistic implications.The circumcision ritual is one very easy example here, most tribes had these rites of passage going back to nomadic hunter tribes, forms of scarification & body tatooing etc.

You need to pick up a book & read sometime, but it could be dangerous you might learn something. About all the human races, not some tiny groups in one smal geographical area beating their chests.
