Suma, as I mentioned in my prior post, plugging the ROKU into your TV and using wifi might work just fine for you. Only way to know is to try it first. Even if your router is in another room you could run a cable from it to the ROKU if wifi becomes a problem, although the cleanest way to do that would be to run it through a wall so you don't have exposed cables running through your home. Obviously a more involved way to go. Hopefully just plugging it in and setting it up using wifi will work for you. Hate to make things more complicated for you, but you should check and see if your router supports the 80211.n standard, which has been around for some time now and is faster than the older B and G protocols. There is an even faster standard just out called 'AC', but it does not look like ROKU supports it yet...

Regards,
John
