I just got off the phone with a stockbroker friend of mine, and he says it is becoming widely known in investment circles that Zip sales are good, but not great, and that Iomega stuffed the sales channels last month. These rumor circles were completely correct last reporting time about the Zip manufacturing troubles during the summer. This is why IOM stock went down today, and why it did not participate in the success most other tech stocks enjoyed during the day's market action. IOM stock is acting very badly right now--I would get out while you can.
