On thinking more about it, there was something "off" with the last Affair episode. I don't know exactly what, but something wasn't quite there. Reminds me of a Big Bang from around 2 weeks ago. The lines seemed a bit more over the top than normal, and a bit forced and not really funny. I'm a bit slow in keeping up with the names and plot twists on Game of Thrones, and I don't really care about most of the characters, but so far there's just enough there to keep me coming back. The dwarf (from the Station Agent) is excellent. Basically, I guess it's the excesses (that good people complain about) that keep it interesting :)
