Candle Stick, thank you for the excellent commentary on the progress at the Equity conference. It seems that JMAR is about to run on all cylinders in 1998. Very nice to hear about the XRL progress, and the 10 million from ARPA is unbelievable. That is a big sign of confidence from the government. Most on this board have POO POOED the XRL, this certainly gives it a different look.

I expected the Bright Light to play a big role in 1998, and your note certainly confirms this. I agree with Mike that the Hard Drive industry revenues should balloon in 1998 for JMAR. They are very well placed there and should expand their presense. If you overlook the nervous nellies JMAR looks poised to be a magnificent performer in 1998 and 1999. Nobody mentioned the Light Knife, so I guess that will be yet another bonus, unless that is one of the 3 big industries.

Can you explain (if you know) exactly what an equity carve out is and when JMAR expects to do it. And how this will benefit us. What are the 3 major areas that JMAR has?
