Right, John. No ad hominem need be explained by a Microphile, and anything that doesn't rebut Microsoft's paid legal advocates point by point is hot air. Wisconsin has a progressive good government tradition that's been made into a mockery by the current governor, who's mostly turned the state government into a patronage machine, but never mind. Now we cheeseheads get the dubious pleasure of having both high taxes and perpetual lectures on morality by a Republican governor who hasn't lived with his wife since he came to Madison. So it goes, at least the Pack is back.

So, do you have anything to say here except to dare us to argue against the other mighty Bill, Neukom? He's a good lawyer, by all indications, but attorneys are paid to represent their clients, not speak the truth. Belittling lawyers is always a popular pasttime these days, and I've had some fun addressing some of Microsoft's actions on the legal front in the past. I got a few more insidious stories to tell, if I'm pressed.

Cheers, Dan.
