Some have noted similarities between certain Greek systems of ethics and New Testament teachings on morality

Now that is an understament, lets really undertsate that one really really bigtime! <bg

While one can identify certain common features, such as literary styles and basic moral codes, there are prominent differences in the motivation ,Christians are motivated by regard for God and His call to holiness; the Greeks by self-evident 'reason'.

More bullshit, everyone has the same sense of the infinite, good grief, Greeks widened the scope of thinking for the Hebrews in manifold ways simply to the powers of ten. Philosophically the impact of Platonism cannot even be measured as it blended into a culture that had country prophets & messiahs growing out of the sand like weeds.

We find this all throughout the Sinai, Egypt, Turkey , Persia & Arabian penninsula down to Muhammads time
prophets & magicians were everywhere.
