It's an exploration stock and therefore has no definite value until they do find something that is economically viable. They also just finished getting $7,500,000.00 in financing on October 21,1997. and they are already trying to get more money. On December 15,1997 they announced that talks with ABN AMRO broke down on a financing of a Chilean property. Stick to going long financially sound companies with an actual product, such as Star Data, and you won't be somebody's sucker, R.Barbe. This Atacama sounds like a promo to me (otherwise why would they issue a press release indicating that BBV Latinvest issues a research report. Who the hell are they?!?) and I'd rather be short this stock than be long. More risk = More volatility.
