This stock is falling because there is reason to sell -- tax loss. IMP is a great candidate to offset those capital gains, & right now the stock is going nowhere.

When there is reason to buy the stock will rebound. Right now, a strong argument may be made that there is no reason to buy (other than it must be at or pretty close to the bottom). Forecasts for semi-conductor biz for '98 have been trending downward. See biz.yahoo.com.

IMHO, there are a significant # of individuals watching this stock from the sidelines. No one is much interested in IMP because it ain't goin' anywhere until some real biz is id'd. When that happens, volume will pick-up & the stock will begin to inch upward. When these signs begin to manifest themselves you will see many jump back into the stock for some nice short-term pops.

Right now this stock remains dead money. Hopefully, in '98, it will awaken from its slumber. Management has repositioned the company to respond when the wakeup-call sounds from the first new customer.
