Allen and co. I haven't been posting much lately because this
thread wastes far too much time dealing with Rockhead's
bear-brained BS, and the level of info discussed has
deteriorated accordingly. I joined this thread about a year
ago when IOM stock had drifted down to 15.5 (my buy-in price).
At that time Rockhead and some guy named Joel were constantly
down on the stock and it did hit a bottom of about 12.5 and has
zig-zagged up from there slowly but surely to its recent peak
of 33.5. I don't know why Joel disappeared but it took many
months of heavy spamming to get Rockhead to wander off and then
a few months ago, some of our sweet softies invited him back
in. Nothing against them for doing that, but what a bore to
have him back. So I ask you politely, Rockhead, why don't you
stick your snoz back inside the gooey wet spot you normally
keep it in and leave us alone. Thanks a lot. Please buy lots
of Syquest and Sony and go home.
...My point, there is no point in arguing with Rockhead, or the
Bearded One for that matter, because they do not think
logically and are only here for the attention they get in
provoking our ire. The more you respond to them, the greater
thrill they get.
Just ask Arnold Schwarzenegger, its a lot more fun to play the
villain. This is entertainment for Rockhead, not business. If
he was a serious investor with real bucks in stocks or options
he couldn't be serious about $300 being too dear to augment an
expensive laptop with zip capacity. He is strictly minor
league, and I would hope we can stop playing with him as if he
was for real. I for one tripled my position in IOM via the May
22.5 calls several months ago and have no doubt they will be
double in value in 30 to 60 days just as my stock will once
again be more than double in value in the same period....
..Last year I got into IOM because I saw zips being added to
almost all new and used systems being used by University
researchers. The same thing happened about 8 to 10 years ago
when 5.25" floppys were the standard and 3.5" floppys were
being added on as second drives and gradually supplanted the
5.25" over about 5 years. The same will happen with the zips,
but it takes a few years. Be patient.
