11/21/14 Contest update Now that Obama has signed an executive order for immigration reform, maybe he can be convinced to let my penny biotechs migrate to the Nasdaq without requiring a share disintegrating reverse split. And speaking of reverse splits, the seven Contest portfolios holding TR.TO endured a 1 for 30 share slash this week. Meanwhile, at Friday’s close, the Contest median closed up 5.15% YTD (vs. up 3.98% YTD a week ago), the larger-cap Nasdaq Biotech Index, closed up 30.12% YTD (vs. up 27.24% YTD a week ago) and the Nasdaq Composite Index closed up 12.84% YTD (vs. up 12.26% YTD a week ago). DEWDIL’s portfolio had another winning week and held on to the Contest lead with a 95.65% YTD gain. Second place DIEGO’s portfolio remained in the running with a 89.39% YTD gain, while WATCHIT’s portfolio, up 79.74% YTD, remained in third place. At Friday's close, 28 of the 46 Contest portfolios were still in the black, while 11 of the 46 beat the NBI. The median Contest portfolio stock (CORT) is down -6.85% YTD. Below is the Top Ten list. Also below are the Top 5 & Bottom 5 Stocks ranked by % Gained and % Lost for the week. (Prices not converted to US$ in these Tables.) Portfolio adjustments: TR.TO 1-30 reverse split (All corrections, especially adjustments for splits, greatly appreciated.) Have a relaxing pre-Thanksgiving weekend biotechies! Peace & good health, Bulba
