Former judge and new leader of the Congressional Black Caucus G. K. Butterfield called for the grand jury to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown and warned that there would be consequences if the jury “turn their back on justice.” The Congressional Black Caucus is “laser-focused on Ferguson.” Butterfield said. “I was a judge for 15 years… I would certainly hope the grand jury will find that there is sufficient evidence that a crime probably was committed… but if they turn their back on justice I am fearful that there will be pushback from those who are concerned about it and I am one of those…” The controversial interview was scrubbed from the website.
