What makes this Co. special? What's their special edge? Can anyone "explain" Tlab to me?

I've read excerpts of their 10K, Value Line's write up, and one or two other things. But that doesn't give me a real feel for this co.

Obviously its been a very successful telecom equip co. But what makes them special? Why aren't they shark bait for Lucent, Nortel, I don't know, Alcatel, down the road?

Its obvious that the believers are really strong believers, and it smells like possibly rightly so.

Can you enlighten me?

Or can anyone.
