I think that the KMR holders only get the stock deal no cash.and the KMP holders get the mixed choice.

I have KMP and when the deal was announce it was stated that KMP holders got the mixed offer
of some cash and mostly stock. I think that was because a lot of the KMP holder were going to owe taxes so that the mixed option would give them maybe enough cash to cover taxes.

However when I had to give orders to my broker I was offered all three choices for KMP and I chose the all stock deal as it was a better deal by about 1 dollar per share. If you don't give orders you get the mixed distribution by default. With the current prices it is much better to take the all stock option.
