Hello John

I would be as happy as anybody if there were a pipe or pipes in Munn Lake and CJ is certainly highly optimistic that there is.

However, so far this area has produced nothing but dykes and they can produce indicator mineral trains as well as pipes. You need only look south of this claim to see evidence of that.

To my knowledge, there is no tell-tale geochemical indicator that is a litmus test for pipes over dykes, and dykes have proven at times to produce circular magnetic and electromagnetic signitures just like pipes. So far the mudstone and graywackes in the area appear to have produced more dykes than have the granites. However, whether the host rock around Munn Lake is granite or not is not obvious from the scale of the map I have immediately available.

Perhaps one of the NR's might give a clue to the host rock?

Regards
