Looks like several of my friends from SI are
already here.

If you want a system for long-term capital gains
then there is little doubt that Buffett should
be studied, as he has returned 23.8% over
40 years with never a down year. There is a book that reveals
a system that is just out called Buffettology. I reviewed
the book for Microsoft Investor ( investor.msn.com -
Wanna Be Like Buffett?) and I offer a spreadsheet
based on this book that analyzes stocks like Buffett
(you can get this at Microsoft's site in the article
for 5 year predictions, or you can get a different
10 year version with pop up explanations at my site
sealpoint.com . The 10 year is more true
to Buffett, IMO, but the 5 year is ok too.

There is a Buffettology thread here, and a Value Investing
thread here, both of which are oriented towards long
term gains and should be helpful resources in addition
to this thread.

Good Investing,
Mike
