What determines whether an economist is "good" or not?

Don't they all have a subjective POV that they are trying to promote

..as such, it seems that the only yardstick is their ability to fit empirical data to their world view and project from there

Krugman doesn't think that the upward concentration of wealth is sustainable

I don't either

..his contribution is fitting his observations as they impact politically, and attempting to influence change toward a more sustainable socio-economic future

..ain't a bad idea, IMO
