EGPWS Definitely the Ron Brown incident had some influence on the need for the technology. But more than that it was the American Airlines plane crash in Cali, Columbia that was the key trigger. Soon after, American Airlines ordered the EGPWS for their aircraft. And American's sponsorship helped in commercializing the technology. Other bills - there is a Bill related to research grants for precision farming. Arun
