I have spent half my career negotiating and would say that your guess is very possibly correct. I can also add that when the primary negotiators reach an agreement and begin waiting for the lawyers to put it into proper form, they get impatient. Have you ever known a lawyer to not be working on a deadline? Not hype, just my experience. . . . On the other hand, I note the complexity of this kind of deal and the apparent length of time Syntroleum was in negotiations. F
