Parenteau and Molson played on the first line with Taveras a few years ago. The Isles gave Parenteau his first real shot in the NHL. He was a career AHLer and the Rags gave up on him. He had a career year with the Isles, but wanted to much $$ to resign. Isles were super cheap in those days. Parenteau was a great play maker, but took a lot of stupid penalties that cost the Isles in big games. As for Molson, he was Taveras best friend, but GM Snow didn't think he was worth a new deal at close to 5M a year so he traded him for Vanek, plus #1 and #2 draft picks.

Good thing Vanek didn't resign with Isles. He is horrible defensively.

Hopefully, we bounce back tonight. Devils/Isles games are always very entertaining and tough games. Lots of hot female Devil fans were devil horns at these games. -g-
