You're kidding, right? Everyone knows that the Democratic party was the party of slavery. Post Civil War, the Solid South was very racist and Democratic. However, that changed starting with the civil rights legislation of the 1960s. Which led to Nixon's Southern strategy and the racists fleeing to the Republican party.

Now y'all wanted them and now own them. And apparently are embracing them openly. It is a losing strategy, long term.

See, looking at real history and not cherry picked pseudo-history gives a completely different picture than the one you are trying to paint, moron that you are.
