| | | >> How do you struggle for a gun with your thumb 6 to 9 inches away?
The point is that it is 100% consistent with Wilson's story.
To put a finer point on it, what is Brown's hand doing 6-9" (closer, according to Baden) from the officer's weapon if Brown isn't trying to get to his weapon?
>> Well, yeah. He was shot in the car. His DNA is going to be a lot of places.
Yes, but the weapon -- which at the time the shots were fired was on the right side of Wilson where, coincidentally, Wilson said Brown's hand was. And there was no DNA found on Wilson's clothing.
>> I find the story that Wilson tells to be incredible and it plays on too many racial stereotypes for me to take it on face value.
Yes, you do. Because no matter what happened, no matter what the evidence is, that is going to be your finding. This is the kind of bias that adds fuel to the fire but doesn't comport with the facts. There is simply no evidence on which to base charges against this man. No inconsistencies in his story, which is supported by most of the eyewitness testimony, supported by the physical evidence.
There isn't a snowballs chance in hell of convicting this guy in a multimillion dollar, three ring circus of a trial, and everyone knows it. |
