Indeed, it seems Putin's running of Russia is not at all about the misguided advancement of his countries national interests, but rather seems much more about the personal enrichment of his political allies and the destruction of his perceived political enemies. Russia has many brilliant minds including great programmers and business entrepreneurs. Putin will certainly be limiting visas to stem the inevitable brain drain. It seems nowadays just a military first economy based largely upon the sale of commodities.
