There was a video circulating on social media a couple weeks ago of a black man talking about "responsi-damn-ability". While the guy made a number of great points, one that was important was that it is 2014, and "you" haven't been affected by slavery, and "nobody you know" has been affected by slavery, and probably "nobody you know knows anybody" who has been affected by slavery. Whatever feelings people have about young blacks are a product of their own situations. If they want to stop seeing young black men killed, they need to stop doing the stuff that gets them killed and blaming others. Even the most irresponsible people can understand this, although it is unclear to me why CJ, tejek, and Chris can't get it.
