Bearcatbob, I guess its going to depend on where the drill holes are as to how encouraging these results are. It looks like we have three good holes and the road cut. Are they all on top of one another? If they're 50m-100m apart it could get interesting. Sounds like they plan to keep drilling.

I asked a couple of questions on the PFG site: here they are plus Mr Shrakes response. May take me a try or two to post completely; here goes.

Dear Mr Shrake, Two questions if you have time to answer them;
1)Barrick has stated that they have drilled 6,500m of Diamond Drill holes. Assuming 250m per hole..that would mean that they have drilled 27 holes. How many have actually had data released? I find data on no where near that many DD holes in my files. 2)I am still concerned about the large silver discrepancy between DD & RC data for holes that are very close to each other. Is it possible that the types of silver complexes (some water soluble) you mentioned in the last release, are partly responsible for the lower reported silver in the reverse circulation holes? 3)Do you know if Barrick has established a fudge factor to compensate for the DD/RC discrepancies? If so what is it? Congratulations on the TSE listing.

Thanks, Dave

In answer to your questions: 1) There are 11 diamond drill (DDH) holes
that have been drilled and the results released. The remainder of the
meterage is in drilling core for metallurgical tests. These holes are not split for assay, but are rather sent whole to the metallurgical lab. All of the metallurgical holes are twins of previously drilled reverse circulation (RC) drill holes. 2) We are in the process of evaluating the difference between the RC and DDH holes. The results of the study will be announced once we have finished the work. .We anticipate that this work should be completed in the first quarter of '98. 3) Barrick's resource calculation has no fudge factor nor does our calculation. I accept your congratulations on the TSE listing on behalf of the many hard working people who make up this company.

At least the discrepancy is acknowledged, Dave
