I expected a drop in VVUS this month as people sold for tax deductions...but ouch!!...I didn't expect it drop to single digits before the end of the month. I'm still not sure that it's the right time to buy...I can see VVUS going to 7 or 8, but I'm not going to hold my breath for it. Once January hits, I expect sharp sudden rises in VVUS.

My dilemma right now is that VVUS call options are very expensive compared to the stock price. When the stock is $10, and June 10's are $3, the stock is a much better bet. For some reason, option premiums remained stable during the drop from 11 to 10...a drop I had been planning on taking advantage of. So, I'm contemplating selling naked puts...which have a very limited risk given the share price. Even if VVUS turns out to be Viv-X, which I consider a good possibility with the company's continued failure to explain the 25% drop in revs, my naked puts wouldn't leave me in financial ruin.

I sympathize with all you people who lost big on VVUS. I bought a basket full of June calls the day before "the announcement," when VVUS at 20 was still a steal. I've been spending much of my time over the past week trying to recoup this loss by day-trading...but it may take me another month to fully recover.

Oh well...

Vive Viv-X!!!!
