I'm around, lurking. New job, two kids in college now, holiday plans, getting ready to get back into trading a little bit, cars, guns, family. All keep me busy.
Was on Twitter following the Ferguson protesters, most of the organizers. Had to get rid of Twitter. It is a snapshot of the divide in this country. Took a lot of time to follow.
The organizers of the protest want to be so outraged that a state of emergency was called and the national guard showed up, we have snipers on the roofs of businesses, armed guards standing in front of businesses. They call themselves peaceful protesters, and other than stopping traffic and mall shopping, they are mildly annoying. It is the people with them who set 25 fires and burned down 21 businesses that everyone else is outraged at, but they refuse to acknowledge this difference. So, they won't listen I quit talking. Hell with'em. I will keep "rolling heavy" when I go to certain parts of town for another couple months until they calm down and start talking to people.
My dad getting new hip so will be over there for support, some friends are having twins, the hubby has no idea how to do anything with setting up a room, painting wood work etc, so we are at his house getting baby room ready. He cannot put the crib together. Needs some tutoring.
