Judge Napolitano Calls Out Stewart’s Hypocrisy: 'You Don't Believe That For a Minute!'

Fox News Senior Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano appeared on The Daily Show December 1 and let loose on Stewartwith an unexpected zinger that took the liberal talk show host a moment to recover.

In a discussion revolving around the role of government and freedom, Stewart suggested that Napolitano was advocating America scraps the capitalist system. For that fumble, Napolitano responded with a pointed remark that was sure to sting a little bit.

STEWART: But if we are the best in this system, so that would be like saying, if I may, let’s get rid of capitalism, even though it’s the best economic system-

NAPOLITANO: You don’t believe that for a minute. That we should get rid of capitalism? You’re the richest guy in television!

Like comedian Russell Brand, liberals who rally about economic injustice and how evil corporations are, really don’t like when they are called out for the capitalist system working in their favor to make them one of those evil, rich guys. Stewart's own net worth is $80 million. Last year, Variety estimated that Jon Stewart makes $25 to $30 million a year, more than any other late-night host. They called him "TV's Highest-Paid Host."
