30 to 4 million will be dificult

however
1/electric cars are starting slowly but surely they will reduced transport consumption
just had a talk with a tesla guy in belgium they have sold 500 cars now in belgium alone

so 500*10(liters/100 km/y)*200 (average 20000 km a year) is 1000 000 liters less per year
and this is only the start
(tesla is still considered an odd car mark here)

but bmw is starting to sell their i3 and soon there i8
audi and porche are also selling hybrid cars ( first 30 km is electric) so that making a dent0

especially as there are hughe tax incentives for electric cars

tesla costs 90000 euro BUT is deductable in my llc for 120%
the audi a8 i drive until now only for 35% this makes a hughe nett diference

then as business owner i'm taxed for 20000 euros/ year for the audi and 3000 for the tesla

until now range of those cars was a problem and their expensive nature
now batteries are good for 300-400 km on 1 charge and improving slowly but surely
taxincentivess take care of costs

2/ evrywhere you now see solar panels and windmills
lots off peeps are changing to
- more energy efficient homes
- heat exchange pumps
- dropping the gasoil burners in favour of gass or electric heating

3/ once google cars start to be used for transportation or the mercedes freight train in which several trucks are linked that will also reduce further consumption als computers drive much more efficient if its only 1 litre/ 100 km its gonna be hughe

3/ i have a family member who works for dhl and he said you cant imaging how much fuel we saved simply by getting new airplanes

dont believe a drop to 4 million but10 should be easy untill 2030
