Excellent research on your part.

>If the auto companies don't use this technology...considering that its use roughly equals the expense of installing extra door frame and A&B pillar padding...they can not be thinking about the safety of their customers.>

History has shown that Auto companies have a selfish agenda.

On SMU side is that regulations will force car manufacturers to use a product, and what is now being proposed by Detroit simply does not work. It is a race against time as they know SMU is bleeding. Any word on the G-16's? The turn of events in the Government sector and the Aircraft Division is what has me worried. To me, the ITS was the Icing and the seats the cake. It will be nice to see a positive income stream from these three years of research and expenses.

On a tech note, I did like that volume expanded to its highest level in many, many moons. That 14.125 look like the same low prior to the Sell by Management to its Investors. The key reversal stands at a close of 16.375 or better.
