How far down the instruction list did you get?

Have you verified that you have your HDMI cable plugged into the TV's HDMI1? There are often multiple HDMI ports...mine has HDMI-SIDE, HDMI1, HDMI2, etc. Verify that the port you're using is labelled "HDMI1" on the TV. If there are other ports besides HDMI1, give them a try.

Do you have another HDMI cable? It could be a bad cable.
