Have you verified that you have your HDMI cable plugged into the TV's HDMI1?

Good point, I had it plugged into HDMI port 2 yesterday.

So I've plugged it into HDMI port 1 today, and I'm not even getting as far as the last time.

This time, when I go to Display there is only one option (the PC). Yesterday there were two options, the TV and the PC.

However, when I plug the HDMI cable back into port 2 on the TV, I get two options in Control Panel/Display/Adjust Display Settings.

So it seems HDMI port 2 on the TV is doing something, but port 1 is doing nothing.

Do you have another HDMI cable? It could be a bad cable.

Could be, but it's a brand new never used before cable, so I doubt it.

So I guess I made it on that page down to Step 10 on that page. And I've set both displays to show what's on the PC's desktop, but the TV screen is blackness showing just HDMI 2 in one corner.

And what do you know? Plugging it in and unplugging it has resulted in it working! The TV shows what's on the PC.

So.....my only question now - the sound is coming out of the PC system, is there a way to make it go through the HDMI cable so that the sound comes out of the TV sound system??
