Well, I'm often exposed to NPR (the Keillor Show, etc.), but "The Moth" doesn't come to mind. Thanks.

Actually, I never took to Star Wars, although I've probably seen all of them. BTW, the original I had to see on a date and that probably spoiled it for me. I think Star Trek is much different, as there's more time to get used to characters and be familiar with unusual situations. It often becomes more of a "morality play" than SciFi, although the sequels tended to rely on battles in their latter seasons when they ran out of ideas. The characters always took center stage though. T'Pol and "Seven of Nine" were a couple of my favorites.
