Let's not forget for one moment why Obama does the things he does. He is neither incompetent or stupid.
He is an avowed extreme leftist whose purpose is to fundamentally transform America into his vision of what he believes it should be. In his mind, his success or failure is measured by the extent of that transformation. Thus far he has been tremendously successful.
The Constitution assumes that the President of the United States will be an honorable man who has the good of the United States as established by the Constitution as his priority. Both of these things are not what we have in Barack Obama.
All of our Presidents have been imperfect men. But we have never had a President who believed that America, as founded, was basically flawed and needed to be fundamentally transformed. Obama is determined that regardless of the Constitution he will do all he can to transform it, at every level, into something else.
The architects of our Constitution were fearful of the potential power of the Presidency. They placed within the system a separation of powers as a safeguard against the President becoming a king or dictator. Until now there has not been an adequate test of those safeguards. They obviously are not enough to restrain a man with no integrity and an anti American agenda who manages to attain the Oval Office.
A truly disturbing thing to me is that his boldness in disregarding the Constitution has drawn so many Democrats in Congress out into the light and they have, by their support, shown themselves to be as anti American as he is. It is so disgusting that even some Democrats are compelled by their conscience to distance themselves from the usurper in chief. We also must consider that they may be lying for various reasons.
Obama's supporters, wherever they appear, must be viewed as the enemies of The United States. To support and defend him at this late date and in light of all he has done in the last 6 years can be attributed to one of four things. Those four possible causes for supporting Obama now are: mental retardation, emotional inability to admit an error, some personal gain or an agreement with Obama that America, as founded, is flawed and needs transformation.
