I agree that the negatives should be considered for any drug one takes. What I beleive is that there is an attitude in some circles that obesity is a weakness and to treat this chronic disease like diabetes would not be good for the population. What this opinion fails to realize is that for many obese people, failure to persist with other treatment is an all too common experience. Here is a treatment drug that works for a majority of this population. Why not let obese people experience success.
As to the moving average and technical analysis, this is your forte. I look with interest at volume and intraday charts and long term charts when I can but my reason for being in the stock is that the product is one that I have confidence in and the managemnet has done what one analyst described as the best rollout of a new drug in years. When the sales figures are in the foreground is when the stock will go up. Until then, it is a rocky and rough ride and I may lighten up some on the stock by either covered call, something like that.
