And now we have the 1000 year drought. We can't say that mama doesn't like symmetry. ;-)

No words....I can't begin to imagine it. Floods scare me actually.
Over at weatherwest.com one of the commenters mentioned a climate scientist, wish I'd recorded his name, that says that climate change follows a stair-case type pattern. Years of droughts followed by years of flooding---if true(as in if commenter was correct in quoting him) it puts the current rains in perspective.....I'll try to look up that comment although something tells me that you know who the guy is...

I'm a bit nervous about this upcoming storm. Sort of like preparing for a Nor'Easter.
