More on the IMP Release:

<<SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 23 (Reuter) - IMP Inc, a maker of mixed integrated circuits, said Monday it expects to report a
significant loss for the second quarter ended in September, due to weaker demand and restructuring charges.

.
. middle part posted previously
.

Specifically, the company said certain of its major customers have requested delays in delivery schedules and reductions in
previously ordered amounts for IMP products."

IMP did not disclose which customer had cancelled development of the read channel device, however the company does
receive about 12 percent of its revenues from disk drive maker Iomega Corp .

Iomega declined to comment. >>

Anyone:
Why wouldn't IOMG just say that they weren't the ones to cut orders?

Does IOMG buy proprietary IMP components, or do they have alternative suppliers?
