Paul, for your info., sales of <$1000 computers have declined in Oct. and Nov. afetr peaking in Sept. (back to school sales). Apparently, christmas shoppers are looking for performance and not just saving a buck. I know in the MicroCenter here in Boston, the 233MMX machines have been much better sellers than the $799 Compaq machines (boxes stacked up with no advertising or sales support). Intel should come in right around estimates, imo. joey
