That's what I would call the Excellent use of a rich man's money, apart from the fact that Usmanov should be congratulated for his considerate act.

In fact if someone as eminent as Watson is, and who has contributed to the vital pool of knowledge regarding the make-up of man, is in any sort of financial straights, then his country should do something about providing him with a reasonably comfortable life in his remaining years.
After all, governments waste enough of taxpayer's money on stuff of far less use to mankind than was Watson's contribution.
